Yes, it's true. The students are allowed to use calculators for their Mathletics homework. I promise, your daughter isn't making it up :)
Example for the homework assignment:
So, if there is a base of 3 (the big number) and an exponent of 5 (the little number), it means to multiply:
3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3
If there is a base of 6 and an exponent of 2, it means to multiply:
6 x 6
Please note that this assignment is not dealing with addition, but multiplication.
